As part of our efforts to permanently establish scholarships to help needy Cabarrus County students attending UNC-CH, we would like to challenge you to become a sustaining contributor to the Cabarrus County Carolina Club Scholarship Fund. Each year we try to recognize at least one enrolled student from Cabarrus County with a minimum of a $500.00 scholarship to help ease those ever increasing expenses. The scholarships are based on need and are awarded by the UNC Student Aid Office. Ours scholarship is presented to a sophomore, junior or senior that meets the criteria and resides in Cabarrus County.

Our long term goal is to provided multiple scholarships each year through sustaining contributions. This is where you can help. To reach a level of six $500.00 each year, we need the equivalent of 50 sustaining contributors at a level of $5.00/month. Currently we have 6 of those 50, or 12% of our goal. Your contribution is like giving up a single Salted Caramel Mocha Grande from the local coffee place one time a month, not too big a sacrifice to help our local UNC students.
