Our football kick-off event is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Bonfire Bar & Grill (970 Branchview Drive, Concord). We have their private back room reserved with a large screen TV, complete with sound. It will be a FANtastic get together and football game-viewing event where the Tar Heels take on the California Golden Bears in beautiful Kenan Stadium. The fun begins at noon, and the game kicks off at approximately 12:20 p.m. It ends when the clock reads 00:00 and Carolina has won the first game of the season and gotten things off to a great start. All alumni, their families and friends who bleed Carolina blue are welcome to attend.
There is no cost for this event. All we ask is that you sign up, show up and enjoy the fun and fellowship. This is a full service restaurant/bar, so many of your favorite beverages and snacks will be available to purchase.
Now is the time to reserve your spot so you can join us to cheer the Tar Heels on to victory over the Bears. Back room seating is limited to the first 40 people.
